Sewage Pump Composition

Using Tips
▪ Manual Churning Function: If the pump stopped working due to the blocked blade, you can open the bottom cover and turn the middle screw with a straight screwdriver to manually mash the blockage.
▪ It's recommended to install a filter on the inlet end. And avoiding the impurities in the liquid, otherwise the water pump will be easily blocked, resulting in a decrease in pressure, flow rate, and even inability to pump water.

Wired backwards - yep. The pump as shipped ran in reverse. Easy cut and splice re-wire got it working perfectly.I use this to allow dumping of RV's from about 100' away. I use a 3/4" cheap hose to go from the RV location over to the cleanouts in my septic system. Works like a champ.Build seems OK, in troubshooting the running backwards thing I took it partially apart. it uses a basic impeller as a pump. Hopefully that lasts, my experience with impellers leads me to believe it is a consumable and I have no idea if it is replaceable or ..... But all of that is speculation so I'll update later if the impeller fails.All in all, I like it a lot and have pumped a good 150 gallons of RV black tank holdings so far. Most won't know how to fix the reverse polarity, but the re-wire was exceptionally easy.

I know some RV'ers avoid using the black tank to avoid clogs, poop pyramids, etc. but we're not among them. Our bathroom is always cleaner and more private than a campground bathroom, but this leads to black tank maintenance of course. I didn't know exactly what a macerator did until I got this one. I'll never be without one again.This pump kit is complete; you only need 2 hoses, 1 for the rinse water and one for the discharge to the septic tank/portable tank/etc. The power connects via a 12V cigarette lighter plug and has a 8-foot cord which isn't long enough to reach anything on my RV, so I use a jump pack to power it. The materials are steel and heavy-duty plastic. I put a clear 90-degree elbow on it so the pump hangs vertically and doesn't put a strain on the waste outlet connection. It works well and isn't ridiculously loud if you need to run it at dawns early light on load out day. This is my first macerator, so I don't have a lot of reference pumps to compare it to, but it works great, is a complete kit and is well worth the asking price.
