My feet get sweaty and cold easily. I needed to find comfortable, supportive, warm, wicking socks to wear with my boots (I typically wear either my Bates tactical boots for Law Enforcement us, my Red Wing work boots, my Sorel's for shoveling snow or my latest purchase, Vasquez Snowblime UltraDry boots for winter hiking/snowshoeing).I purchased 5 pair and though I don't wear them during summer months, they are still in perfect shape! They wick away moisture and keep my feet comfortable all day long. They typically don't slip down my leg much nor do they over-constrict around my calf. As Goldilocks would say; "They're just right!"Price? Buy once, Cry once! Yes, they're a little pricey but you're not throwing good money after bad with these. I recently purchased Wigwam Men's At Work DuraSole Work 2-Pack Crew Length Work Sock off Amazon (2pr/$12 = $6/ea)... I was hoping to get a nice sock at an exceptional value/price. Sorry to say, compared to their INgenius Boot Sock, they are much lighter weight and don't feel nearly as comfortable. Unfortunately, I'll be returning them. The only other type of sock I've found and like besides these Wigwam INgenius Boot Socks are SmartWool Hiking Socks (typically purchased from REI). They too, are around $20/pr. They're a little shorter and perhaps a little thinner but also have great wicking capabilities, supportive and longevity. They have a little more stretch and never slide down to my ankle.I would most definitely recommend Wigwam's INgenius Boot Socks to anyone looking for a great product with exceptional value.

I am an EMT for 911 volunteer, and on a private ambulance full time. I wear these with my boots, they are very comfortable, don't disintegrate like my normal socks did when worn with the boots, and are very warm... which is great for fall/winter/early spring! But they are definitely not great for warm temperatures if your duty uniform is a heavy material as well. I am 6'2"/6'3" and these come all the way up my calves, a couple inches below the knee (so they're still comfortable when kneeling). I have been wearing these for about 8 months now (I have seven pairs) and all of them are still in amazing condition. Not much difference in thickness or feel from the first day in them.

The sock is very comfortable and appears very well constructed. I won't have good data on it's longevity until this time next year, as I ordered them towards the end of winter and have only worn them a few times. I can say that, given it's name "Ingenius Boot Sock", I expected the socks to be what I have previously considered "boot length" and come to just under my knees, they do not. They are only a couple inches taller than a regular crew sold at your big box stores. The name of the sock may also be a marketing gimmick for different customer bases (those who buy work socks vs. those who buy hiking/camping socks) as mine came on a card that indicated they were the "Base Camp Fusion" on the front, but has a sticker on the back with a different SKU and indicating the "Ingenius Boot Sock" name. Overall, and so far, I am pleased with them. If I can remember to, I will update this review next year to let you know if they stay up well, are warm, and keep my feet dry.

Expected set of 6 (3 pairs), but only received 2 socks (1 pair) for $35.99.

These are nice if you're looking for thick, heavy winter socks. I am not. What I thought I was ordering were socks like the ones I'm now wearing that have the word "ingenious" printed in 2 colors along the arch. They are warm, we'll-made, and yet lightweight.

OK, so they're just socks right? Not really. I have been wearing these socks for years and I have yet to wear a pair out (had a puppy eat a hole in one, but no worn out heals or toes). I wear boots every day and these socks remain comfortable at the desk or in the field. My feet stay dry and warm without the socks trying to sag to my ankles. Great boot socks!

Decent sock made using the Ingenius technology but it isn't remotely as nice as the Original Ingenius socks. I have some Ingenius that are just wearing out 15 years after purchase.

If you've never used anything but white cotton socks, you're missing out. Socks like this will wick the sweat away from your feet, instead of feeling like you stuck your feet in a puddle. They can keep you warm when it's cold, and won't make you melt when it's hot out. The gray ones work for casual and dressier times. They're thick enough to provide good solid padding. They are a significant step up from standard military socks, which have similar materials. These things are thicker and better constructed by far. Just remember to follow washing instructions - do not toss these in the dryer on extra high heat, wool does not respond well to such things.
