I’m not Catholic, but St. Benedict has always caught my attention, and I keep his medals around the house as a kind of protective charm. I have several rosaries and medals already, so I was drawn to this bracelet for that reason.The bracelet itself is cute and well made for what it is. The rhinestones sparkle nicely, and the chain is lightweight but feels sturdy enough. The clasp is smooth and adjustable, so it fits comfortably.That said, I was really disappointed that the St. Benedict medal is only one-sided. This is the first time I’ve seen one without the reverse side, which usually features the cross and the Latin inscriptions—pretty standard and, in my view, part of what makes the medal complete. The side it does have is well done—clear and polished—but missing the back side feels like a major omission.Still, if you’re looking for something decorative and lightweight, it’s a nice little bracelet. Just be aware it’s more fashion-focused than devotional in this case.
