These sandals are well made. The sole is soft on your feet, but thick enough so you won't be feeling pebbles if your strolling a trail in a park. The braided rope is quite soft and does not rub on my feet at all. Despite that one sandal has a looser fitting rope than the other does on my feet. It's just enough that it is noticeable, but not enough that it bothers me. The have great anti-slip tread on the bottoms.One thing I did notice and it still has not gone away yet is that the sole has a very strong, acrid rubber smell. I have let them sit out in the open to air them for a couple weeks now and the smell has diminished some, but still noticeably there.Over all, I will recommend these sandals. They are nice looking and feel sturdy. They are comfy while walking. I like the different style with the braided rope, a lot!

These are different than any sandal I've ever seen. I wear 8.5 and have wide feet; these fit me like they were made for me. I think they would fit every width comfortably. I was concerned that the knots would make these sandals uncomfortable but they don't at all. These are seriously worth the money. You can NOT slide them on and off, but for the comfort and unique look they offer it's worth the little extra time. I actually really love these sandals and definitely recommend them...especially right now while they are half off!!!!

I ordered these after being told by my podiatrist that I needed shoes with better arch support. These seemed cute without looking clunky, so I gave them a try. The braided cord is soft, and doesn't rub sore spots into my feet. It's a little tight, but I am sure that the straps will loosen up a little bit with time. As far as arch support goes, I would say 6/10? It's there, but not anything orthopedic, obviously. As far as overall comfort, I will be able to wear these without issue, so I'm happy with that.
