Great scope, very clear and bright, just like advertised. Only problem is after putting it on my S&W Victory pistol, I realized I'd have been better off with the 2x version. That's my fault not Leupold's and this scope rates 5 Stars. Find one that you can touch, feel and look thru before you purchase. The field of vision is pretty small {28mm} and will take some time to get use to. Nice looking scope, clear and seems to be the scope most recommended for a pistol.

Leupold is a top tier optics manufacturer, have NO doubts! I started looking for a scope at the cheaper end thinking "how much difference could there be in such a simple concept?". I found out REAL fast that the weak link in cheap optics is their ability to retain "zero" after repeated use/abuse. Not only does Leupold put top quality construction and parts first and foremost in each and every product they produce, but they also ensure that the function of the product exceeds standards. After hundreds of rounds the scope is still zeroed-in dead on. Their customer service is extremely helpful as well with suggesting the right mounts, etc. for my application. I highly recommend this company and if not Leupold than, at the very least, spend your money on a HIGH quality scope because even with such a simple concept as lenses in a tube, you get what you pay for.

This scope has top notch quality and precision. It tracks well and has excellent glass quality. So far has stood up to 44 mag recoil and not lost zero.

Great scope and Leupold quality and support is phenomenal. Mounted it on a S&W PC 327 TRR8 with Leupold's PRW-1 (low) mounts. Don't be surprised by the tight fit in the Leupold bracket - all works well together.Great documentation. The scope is more powerful than I anticipated it to be but that's my issue - it's a quality product and Ii am very happy with this purchase.

The Leupold 4 x 28 handgun scope is better/clearer than my cheap spotting scope at 100 yards. Unlike a variable power, the eye relief is fixed and does not change. This happens with the Leupold variable power handgun scope just like with other manufacturers. It may not be as bad with Leupold. But this fixed power scope doesn't have that problem. This is a great scope.

The scope looks great, the lens and reticle are clear and crisp, and it comes with a lens cover (elastic piece that stretches to cover both lenses).
