PUTS HOLES IN FLOOR! I bought this mat to protect my hardwood floors from the wheels of my desk chair. After using this mat for a few months I lifted it up to find the spikes on the bottom the mat have made little holes in my floor! The mat was positioned partly on the floor and partly on a rug, and the spikes when through the rug and made holes in the floor!! DO NOT USE THIS MAT! I will have to refinish my floors, the very thing I was hoping not to have to do.

Saw some other reviews about these getting rolled up in the past. Mine came flat as can be. To avoid putting it in a super huge box, they slipped it in a flattened cardboard box and then taped the sides REALLY WELL to make sure it didn’t slide out. It was honestly a really smart way of packaging it so big thumbs up there! I have brand new carpet in my room so it moves around a bit because the actual carpet itself is fresh and flexible which allows the mat to move around. If my carpet was more dense I think it would stay put well. No dents or cracks at all and it’s not too thick. I would recommend finding a way to tape down the corners (I got carpet tape) because if you step near the middle edges, the corner edges fold up and let me tell you that’s a new kind of painful toe stub. Every time I did it I had to check to see if my toe(s) was still attached while also trying not to cuss at the top of my lungs. Otherwise works as expected!

lightweight material which began cracking within a few weeks of use. I have a 5 caster chair, so weight is well distributed, but this did not hold up. It says it is for short pile carpet, but it moves around the carpeting as well. Save time and money and buy a higher quality chair mat.

Kind of works to help roll a chair on low pile carpet but cracked within about 6 weeks. I am thinking I will get another couple of months before I have to buy a better one. If you have carpet in your home I would not waste my money if I were you on this product. If you are on wood you will be fine.

Cracked after two weeks. It is a quality plastic...but failed. I am done with plastic mats...I am going glass next. Not one of the plastics I have bought in 10 years has lasted more than a year.
