Got this when I found my two older threadlockers no longer hardened up in use. The Permatex did what it is supposed to do. Expect lifespan of a few years when still in original container after opening. My older ones were more than 5 yrs old.

does what it advertises, but remember locktite blue is in red container and locktite red is in blue container
